As time passes, though, Sari let another vision for her yard take form, one which was inspired by the book Last Child in the Woods and its own notion that unstructured outdoor play is fantastic for children' development. A little willow tunnel provides a secret-garden caliber to a course. "Tunnels can be created out of several things," says Gore.
