Preserving its post-and-beam construction and rhythm, (fer) studio inserted a carport, cabana, and a gym with a personal patio serving the master suite. On the way, Factor purchased the house next door and his residence was enlarged to include a 2,700-square-foot guest home.

Together with landscape architect Victoria Pakshong of [place] landscape collaborative, (fer) studio made a strategy for its enlarged house's natural upslope.
