As time passes, though, Sari let a different vision for her yard take shape, one which was inspired by the book Last Child in the Woods and its own notion that unstructured outdoor play is good for children' development. With the Support of landscape designer Samantha Gore, Sari Gave the hillside area an enchanting new look, adding willow tunnels, tree stumps, and a colossal nest perched in a tree to encourage exploration. "When children come over, I see that this'holy smokes' reaction in their eyes," Sari states. "They can't believe they could really dig climb."
